You probably know Madagascar for its endemic wildlife, but what do you know about this poor country, and the people who live there?

This talk describes a cycle tour from the centre of the country to the East coast, and the island of Sainte Marie. We ride through the countryside, and through cities, towns and tiny villages, with the unhurried pace of cycling to allow us to take in life around us as we ride.

We also visited some of the National Parks, so the talk also includes some of the ‘expected’ wildlife – plus some you might not associate with Madagascar.

Chris regards cycling as the best way to see a country.
