Modern Mongolia

21st January 2020

Modern Mongolia is not necessarily an easy option as a travel destination. It is a tough country in everything from its climate to its infrastructure and the local people have learnt to adapt to this challenging way of life.

But the rewards for those who make the effort to get to Mongolia are, like its land, immense. Just leave behind your preconceptions. Instead, come with an open mind and be delighted, challenged and surprised by 21st century Mongolia.

This talk is presented by Jessica Brooks - who has been based in Mongolia since 2006 and is the founder of the specialist travel company Eternal Landscapes Mongolia. Jessica is also a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society - awarded for her work in Mongolia - as well as a published guidebook author. More details on Jessica and her travel company can be found here.
