The evening will include three talks and an exciting travel quiz, by Harry & Jean. We hope you can relax with a drink and enjoy the evening even though we can only meet through Zoom.

For the quiz, members will be randomly allocated to groups so you have the opportunity to work with fellow members on the quiz and also have the opportunity to chat in a small group. As this is interactive, you will be able to use your camera and of course you won't be on mute!

We are delighted that three members will give us interesting talks from different parts of the globe:

Robert Mansfield – Oman 2020

Robert will show the highlights of Oman, visiting the city of Muscat, seeing the Sultan’s Palace and Mosque, and exploring the landscape including the wadis and desert sands.

Diana Birkett – Beguiling Bulgaria

Bulgaria, ‘the oldest country in Europe’, is now a relatively young, democratic republic. It is also the poorest nation in the EU, and risks an invasion of cheap package tourism.  From the Rila mountains to the Black Sea coast, and with both ancient and modern history on display, this is a fascinating country.

Barry Nelson – Going wild in Baja

Barry will take us to Baja, Mexico to see the wildlife and scenery of the Baja peninsula.
