Guildford Travel Club Presents

Prince Edward Island Through the Seasons

15th February 2022

Sue Ablett

Prince Edward Island is located off the east coast of Canada in the Gulf of St Lawrence and is the smallest province in Canada. This talk is based on multiple visits, over many years, and at all different times of the year.

Sue touches on history, geography, birds and wildlife, among other things, but also what it is like to live on an island that can see temperatures of 30C in summer and -30C in winter!

Sue Ablett is an avid traveller and loves talking about her travels, notching up visits to places that are well off the beaten path and to a few places that many would never wish to visit. Her career has included serving as a linguist for the Russian government, and Sue founded the Evesham Festival of Words in 2016.

Please note that this is a change to our previously published programme.
