Chris Aslan spent fifteen years living in Central Asia, in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. He made numerous trips to North Afghanistan to purchase natural dyes for the carpet workshop he had established. For three years, his morning view was of the mountain villages of Afghanistan across the River Panj, the border between Afghanistan and Tajikistan. He even swam there once. Chris tells us about his encounters and adventures and will show us plenty of pictures from this most photographical of countries.
