Shafik Meghji has spent the last 15 years living, working and travelling in South America. For his first book, ‘Crossed Off the Map: Travels in Bolivia’, he journeyed from the Andes to the Amazon, exploring the world’s highest city, most dangerous road, largest salt flat and most biodiverse national park. Shafik has also travelled extensively across Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego, visiting Welsh communities, vast ice fields, raucous penguin colonies and the planet’s southernmost city.
