Since realising a push-bike was a cheaper way to travel than by anything motorised, Chris has racked up thousands of miles in an ever-expanding list of countries. In this talk, he offers a visual journey not only through Canada and its incredibly varied landscapes, but also into the lives of the people who live there, and the appeal of cycling touring in general.

Eastwards and Far is a snapshot of life on the saddle: an opportunity to see a place from a slightly different perspective to the one you might be familiar with. Sometimes literally (from a DSLR camera haphazardly strapped to the handlebars), sometimes more figuratively, but always - hopefully – beautifully.
