Paul Goldstein

For well over 30 years, guide, award-winning photographer and conservationist Paul Goldstein has strived for that perfect wildlife image. The pollution of AI and the overuse of processing has poisoned much of published faunal content now, but Paul's battle with this and many other animal issues goes on unabated.

'There will probably never be a perfect photograph, but then again nor should there be, this is how true photographers want it to be.'

He has done thousands of game drives and spent almost two years in polar waters. Plenty of his life has been battling authorities and venal and corrupt officials as he fights for the future of wildlife. Come and enjoy his savage, spectacular and hilarious commentary and anecdotes of his years photo-guiding across Kenya, Spitsbergen, Brazil, Antarctica, India, South Georgia, Alaska and Canada.

He is not welcome in some countries, he is in Guildford.

More of Paul's images can be found on his website.

Note that this is a change to our originally published programme. Andrew Appleyard will return in a future season.
