The fist organiser was Geoffey Hollis, who organised walks from 1967 until his sudden death in 1975. The Club raised money to put a seat on Leith Hill in his memory.
Zeala Howe took over the organisation of the walks and they continued until 1996.
Some walks were billed as 'Tough Tramps' often over 15 miles:
- Marching over the Moor
- Once More the South Downs
Other more gentle walks and rambles were billed as ‘In search of…’:
- In Search of the Devils Highway
- In Search of the Smallest Church in Surrey
- In Search of the Nuns Walk and the Druids Grove
